The Comox Valley MS Walk is happening May 26 at the Courtenay Airpark.
Each year, the nation-wide event raises funds to help improve the lives of Canadians living with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world. Funds raised at MS Walks help accelerate the pace of MS breakthroughs, and empower people with MS to live their best lives.
Locally, the goal is to raise $22,000. As of Monday, teams had raised $1,230.
Check-in time Sunday, May 26 is 8:30 a.m. at the Airpark. Start time is 10 a.m.
There will be a three-kilometre, seven km and 10 km route.
