They are accepting credit and debit cards, e-transfer and other payment methods. If it is from a vendor who is out of town they will ship the purchase.
There is a wonderful set of shops to see, a virtual bazaar; purchase a tasty soup or a bright beautiful candle from L鈥橝rche or select a distinctive West Coast wooden handcrafted bird from Indonesia from Aviologie, who is giving 20 per cent off to local customers.
Global Village Nanaimo has an amazing variety from around the globe, including New Internationalist calendars, which are a Fiesta favourite.
World Pilgrims Artisans has delicate hummingbirds from Guatemala; Spectacled Bear Conservation has very sweet felt animals from Peru; Batiqua has classy unique pillow covers from Zimbabwe; Aldea Maya offers the opportunity to buy an alternate gift that will provide schooling for a student in Chuk Muk Guatemala.
The Mondo Trading Company from Salt Spring Island has carefully selected products from over 50 countries and has become the largest vendor at Fiesta. Their bedspreads and housecoats from Bangladesh are bright and beautiful.
