Give the gift of travel through films!

The 30th edition of the World Community Film Festival is ready to roll, virtually, from Feb. 5 -13, 2021.

“We are excited to be offering a great lineup of international documentary films addressing social and environmental justice, LGBTQ+, Indigenous issues, food security, climate change, music and arts,” said programmer Janet Fairbanks. “Bonus features will include interviews with filmmakers and other resource people.”

Films will be available to watch from the comfort of your home at any time during the festival. Audience members can purchase festival passes or tickets for individual films and decide when to watch, in any order, for nine days. It’s “your festival, your way.”

Whet your film appetite and bring some joy into your holiday season with World Community’s screening of River City Drumbeat (95 min), available online from Dec. 26 –29. This music-filled film about a youth African American drum corps from Louisville, Kentucky is a reminder that there is kindness, compassion, and community in this world.
