St. George’s United Church’s fundraising committee, 1375 Thrive, is hosting a dessert feast and silent auction to raise funds for the next Habitat For Humanity build.

The Comox Valley Regional District and K’ómoks First Nation are encouraging homeowners to become FireSmart before summer arrives. FireSmart is a community-based program that provides information, education and activities to increase a community’s resilience to wildfire and reduce the risk of wildfire.
