When Kelly Romeril, therapeutic recreation manager at the Comox Valley Seniors Village contacted music studio owners, Jeff and Amie Webster, to inquire about working together to connect Comox Valley Kindermusik students with 鈥淕randfriends鈥� at the local seniors鈥� residence, the answer was a resounding 鈥淵es!鈥�

For the past 12 years, a young gentleman in the Comox Valley has created his own Bear Necessities Project to support young children whose families are experiencing stress or financial difficulties.

The Comox Valley Horticultural Society is now accepting applications for its Gardens in Bloom grants, which have been funded through sponsorship and ticket sales from the 2019 Fall Garden Tour.

One year ago, Kiley and her husband attended a homeownership information session held by Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North (Habitat VIN). Later this year, their family will move into a safe and affordable home that they had a hand in creating.
