The brew aims to raise food waste awareness and provide funds for the food bank

Did you know that for the past 12 years your local AHERO (Ad Hoc Emergency Response Organization) has hosted a Frontline Resource Fair? On Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. 鈥� 2 p.m. at the Lewis Centre, AHERO is once again hosting the Comox Valley Frontline Resource Fair, with support from the Campbell River, Courtenay &District Labour Council, and the Union for Protein Project.

October meeting includes compost 鈥渢rade show鈥�

Long-time supporter of Rotary Club of Cumberland Centennial, Kathy Stevens, was presented the Club鈥檚 highest award 鈥淭he Miner鈥檚 Lamp鈥� and made Honorary Member of the Club by president Keith Tatton at the 14th Annual Extravaganza Italiana on Saturday, Sept. 29. Kathy has been a supporter since the Club was founded in 2005. Kathy鈥檚 expertise in the workings of an auction have been invaluable to the club over the past 14 years.
