Some of the Valley’s most loved music teachers are coming together for a night of music on July 18 at the newly renamed Regier Theatre (previously known as Old Church Theatre) in Courtenay.

“We came up with the idea at one of Long & McQuade's student concerts,” relates Theatre Director, Doug Cox. “I realized, watching the teachers get up to introduce their students, that I had known a few of them for quite some time but had never really got to see them perform. I can't be the only one who feels this way! We hope to make this concert an annual event.”

The concert will include Adam Willey, Alan Jossul, Christy Vanden, Ian Schroder, Tavis Weir, Thomas Callow, Valerie Willey and Veronica Klock as they all join forces to pull off a special night. The show will celebrate a wide variety of musical styles so there should be something for everyone.

“To top it all off,” Cox adds, we will be celebrating our new, patron-funded, Air Conditioning system! So expect to be cool and comfy while enjoying the music of a bunch of folks who help make up the heartbeat of music in the Comox Valley.”

The show is July 18 at 7:30 p.m.. Tickets are available at: .
