I thought Marc Kitteringham鈥檚 article on page A12 in this weeks Record was not only excellent but common sense.
Look at other countries that vote using Proportional Representation 鈥� Ireland for example. It basically means that every single vote counts 鈥� no matter what individual you vote for that person has an opportunity to represent you in Parliament regardless of the party in power
I genuinely do not think the majority of people had a clue what Proportional Representation was when many years ago we were given the opportunity to choose.
I do hope that before the next election, this fair system of voting will be in place.
