Dear Editor,
I read with interest your article in our local Abbotsford paper and I thought with your line of work, something should be said to someone in power about some of the vehicles on the roads and the dealers still selling them.
Why are there ALL these pickups on the road for pleasure use only? Gas sucking/pollutants. Dodge Rams etc.
Why are there still stinky and diesel vehicles on the road for pleasure or even out there? Polluting, cars leaking oil and other substances.
Why do couples have two cars, especially when retired? Pollution.
Why do people go out everyday, sometime two or three times? Pollution.
Street racing, pushing for more gas. Noise pollution and more.
A simple thing that may help.
In my opinion, the carbon tax should have stayed and prices of gas should stay high for people who are wasteful and don’t care. A Throw-away society, and who cares?
Just like our trash and garbage everywhere polluting our waters and bodies.
