Dear Editor,
As a small business owner in the Valley, I was amazed to see the complete shutdown of all construction for this past Easter holiday weekend.
With a project this important to the local merchants and the people lucky enough to live in the areas to see it sit idle for four days is incomprehensible.
After living in Toronto, Montreal and Calgary before moving to the Valley I can assure you this would never have happened in these cities. If these projects aren’t finished or at least have improved access by the May long weekend and tourists start arriving we will be losing more than our tempers.
