From July 28 to Aug. 1, 2025, there will be ditch and tree maintenance along the Hwy 19A Bypass in Courtenay.
The City will be clearing ditches and doing tree maintenance from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. each morning to avoid traffic disruption.
The lane shift will have minor traffic impacts as there is no road closure. Traffic cones and signage will guide drivers and cyclists into the correct lanes.
Watch for traffic control personnel on site to help direct traffic. The City of Courtenay asks that everyone follow the posted signs and slow down through the work zone.
