The Comox Valley Emergency Program announced the soft launch of its refreshed and simplified Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program Guide. This program and guide will provide important tools and direction to ensure Comox Valley communities are prepared in case of an emergency.

Issues such as tree protection and nuisance abatement are requiring greater attention from the City of Courtenay’s bylaw department.

Our June to September water supply forecast is for water inflows to be about 142 per cent of normal. The overall February to September water supply forecast, as of June, is to be about 103 per cent or normal.
