The City of Courtenay will post notice on its website for public input on Ace Brewing’s proposal to add an outdoor patio to its microbrewery at 150 Mansfield Dr. The seating capacity would be 68 people. The patio would be licensed to operate from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily — same hours as inside the pub.

Consultation will now take place in the fall, when it’s hoped the community can participate with more interest and capacity.
