In a cabinet shuffle last year, Prime Minister Justin 台湾MM裸聊室 appointed Hamilton MP Filomena Tassi Minister for Seniors. The intent was to help government better understand the needs of seniors, and to ensure programs and services respond to Canada鈥檚 aging population. However, North Island-Powell River MP Rachel Blaney said Tassi is limited as to what she can accomplish because she has no resources.

Nova Scotia-based Crombie REIT has submitted a development permit application for Phase 3 of the Crown Isle Shopping Centre at Lerwick and Ryan roads.

Contractors working on behalf of the City of Courtenay will be adding a second sewer line along an existing line on Riverside Lane between Standard Park and 19th Street. The project will result in increased sanitary sewer capacity to support the growing community.
