Come out to a blood pumping double round of Roller Derby in Courtenay

North Island Roller Derby will be playing two rounds of games this July 19.

North Island Roller Derby is proud to present its second instalment of the “Summer Tsunami of Derby” with two action packed games on July 19.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. with the first game starting at 5:20 p.m. with the North Island team taking on Divergence. 

Next up at 7:30 p.m., the North Island team will go head to head with Vancouver’s Terminal City Roller Derby team. 

Along with the night's games, there will be a 50/50 draw, merchandise for sale, food trucks, half-time fun and an after party. This is a family friendly event but the bar will be open upstairs for 19+.

The games take place at the Comox Valley Curling Centre in Courtenay. Bring your own camping chair to enjoy track side seating as chairs are limited.

Admission is by a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for kids (under 5 is free). Only cash is accepted.
