The Comox Valley Transition Society (CVTS) and Waypoint Insurance are hosting an unforgettable evening of art, wine and giving back at the fifth annual Art in the Vines Gala.
Set against the backdrop of 40 Knots Winery’s Vineyard terrace, this hyper-local celebration showcases the best of the Comox Valley, bringing together community, creativity and connection in support of women, children, and families seeking safety and support.
“We love how this event showcases our incredible community,” says Heather Ney, Executive Director of CVTS. “It’s a true collaboration of local talent—makers, artists, entertainers, chefs, and more. This evening is about something deeply important: ensuring that families in the Comox Valley have access to the resources they need to rebuild their lives.”
Highlights of the evening include live music with Doc Fingers, a local art market featuring Sarah Thorneycroft Jewellery, Janis Blyth Art, Cinderella Glass, Earthlight Pottery, Rogue Wavewood, and Cindy Gaboury Art.
Artists donate 20 per cent of all sales to CVTS.
The Makers Panel will feature tastings and stories from 40 Knots Winery, Wayward Distillery, Raven's Moon Cidery, RAD Brewery and Church Street Tap House.
Dinner is provided by As You Like It Catering and dessert pairings include OMG Macarons, RAD Brewing, Church Street Taphouse and Royston Roasting Co.
An online silent auction opens from August to Sept. 12.
Tickets are $135 per gust, or $1,080 for a table of eight. All proceeds support CVTS’s essential programs and services.
