Oak Bay police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck a traffic flagger working on the 1500 block of Foul Bay Road.
Police report the worker sustained minor injuries when they were struck by a vehicle disobeying traffic directions in the construction zone shortly after 1:30 p.m. June 23.
The driver of the vehicle, described as a white, two-door hatchback, fled the scene. Any witnesses or persons with information regarding this incident are asked to contact the Oak Bay Police Department at 250-592-2424 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
