The aftermath of a trailer fire has left one person dead in Port McNeill.
According to reports, the RCMP was notified of the fire at the Port McNeill Trailer Park on the 1800-block of McNeill Road just before 3 a.m. on July 13.
Port McNeill Volunteer Fire Department discovered a body after they extinguished the fire.
According to reports, the RCMP are investigating the death but does not believe the blaze was suspicious. The BC Coroners Service is also investigating the death, but will not provide additional information as it is an open case.
