March 10 at 2 p.m., please help us welcome Rev. Dr. Angus Stuart for his dramatic performance of St. John鈥檚 Gospel, Word of Light: John鈥檚 Gospel in the Flesh.
Angus memorized both the Gospels of Mark and John and has adapted them for dramatic performance in collaboration with artistic director, Carol Ann Coulson. He has given over 70 performances since 2010 in the UK, USA, and Canada and has begun to offer the two Gospels in retreat and workshop contexts, as well. His website is .
Angus arrived in Canada from England in 2005 to become Rector of St Francis in the Wood, West Vancouver. Prior to this, he was Senior Anglican Chaplain at the University of Bristol, and Curate at St Mary the Virgin, Twickenham in the Diocese of London. He trained at Cranmer Hall in St John鈥檚 College, University of Durham and holds Bachelor Degrees in Geography and Theology. His PhD was obtained studying the experience of aging in a rapidly changing social environment.
