Dear Editor,
Like many other Canadians my husband and I decided to keep our money in Canada this summer and visited Newfoundland.
Wow, it was so amazing. Along the way, we met so many other British Columbians doing the exact same thing.
On a cruise up Western Brook Pond in Gros Morne National Park, we met a couple from right here in the valley. They happened to recognize my husband’s hoodie from a local brewery. We spoke with a commissionaire at Quidi Vidi (best fish and chips near Signal Hill) who had talked to 10 British Columbians that day. And while speaking with him another lady came up to chat and she was from Vancouver.
But, best of all was that when we got screeched in at Wing’n It pub in Deer Lake we were with five other fellow British Columbians.
We Canadians Rock!
