I would like to express my disappointment, disgust and contempt at the government and RCMP for the recent bust of the Compassion Club in Courtenay

Dear editor, I am writing to protest the laws that required the RCMP to shut down the Compassion Club in Courtenay last Friday.

Dear editor, Compliance Energy Corp has applied to mine coal in the Fanny Bay area of Baynes Sound. There couldn鈥檛 be a more treasured place in all of British Columbia. It shocks me that a coal mine could even be considered.

Dear editor, Why can鈥檛 whoever owns the land between the Costco store (Costco? The city? A mysterious stranger?) and the neighbouring Elderberry subdivision put in a simple thing like a landscaped berm to ease those people鈥檚 stress?

Dear editor, Regarding the radiologist who has recently come under fire at SJGH in Comox, this is a man that I personally had to the honour to work closely with for many years. This man has been described in the newspapers as 鈥淲ell respected by his peers.鈥� There is a reason for this respect. He earned it!

Dear editor, It was an interesting article in your paper (Record, Feb. 23) concerning the new Trades Training Centre at North Island College, a necessary facility, I'm sure.

Unless a scandal of epic proportions envelops Canada鈥檚 Conservative government, there will be a spring election.

The Comox Valley 鈥� and many of its special areas 鈥� has been nominated as Canada's Greatest Place in a contest being run by the Canadian Institute of Planners.

Dear editor, After reading the 台湾MM裸聊室 reading the article presented by Barbara Price, which is concerning the Cultural Centre being a welcome idea for Comox, it is not the first time that that proposal has been presented.
