12-year-old Comox judoka wins gold in U14 and U16

Dakota Sanzana, competing for the Nanaimo Judo Club, won a pair of gold medals at the 2019 Youth Provincials and Senior Ne Waza Championships, last weekend at Thomson Rivers University in Kamloops. For the second year in a row, the 12-year-old Comox resident won the 44-kilogram class in the Under-14 and U16 divisions.
